The First Annual
Best of the West
Poway Wrestling Foundation presents the first annual Best of the West Dual Classic — a premier team wrestling event featuring 16 of the top high school programs west of the Mississippi.
The field brings together 4 of California's elite programs alongside 12 ranked teams from Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, and beyond. Our aim is simple: build national prestige for the sport of wrestling and the programs bold enough to compete at this level.

Travel Stipend
The top 3 finishing teams receive a travel stipend from the Poway Wrestling Foundation board to offset the cost of coming out west.

Top 3 teams receive championship award hardware. First-class recognition for first-class programs.
